Question 1

Why should I choose Jason's Overhead Door?

Accepted Answer

Jason Velez has been installing garage doors and openers since 2017 and has had the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals in the industry. The business is focused on quality work, fair prices, and treating every customer with the care you would want for your own family.

Question 2

How will I know if my garage door can be repaired or if it should be replaced?

Accepted Answer

A professional inspection can show whether repair or replacement makes more sense for the door's condition, safety, available parts, and expected performance. Jason's Overhead Door offers free estimates and can explain the available options before you decide how to move forward.

Question 3

Is it safe to use a damaged garage door?

Accepted Answer

Use extreme caution with a door that has been hit or damaged. Stop using the automatic opener, keep people and vehicles clear, and do not operate the door if it is crooked, off track, unsupported, or has loose cables or damaged springs. If movement does not feel right, stop and call a professional before causing more damage or creating a safety risk.

Question 4

What kind of warranty comes with using Jason's Overhead Door?

Accepted Answer

Jason's Overhead Door stands behind its installation work. If an installation-related problem arises during the lifetime of the door, the business will address it at no charge. Manufacturer warranties on the door, factory finish, glass, and other components vary by product and will be explained for the selected equipment.

Question 5

What if a section comes in damaged?

Accepted Answer

If a new garage door or opener purchased from Jason's Overhead Door arrives with a damaged section or part, the business will document the damage, order the replacement part, and replace it at no cost to the customer.

Question 6

When can I call for service?

Accepted Answer

Regular business hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Sunday. Emergency service is available 24 hours a day.

Question 7

How much horsepower do I need in my garage door opener?

Accepted Answer

The spring system carries most of the door's weight while the opener guides its movement. A 1/2 HP opener works for many standard residential doors, while heavier or double doors may need 3/4 HP. The final choice should be based on the door's size, weight, balance, and the opener manufacturer's specifications.

Question 8

What is my yearly maintenance on a new garage door?

Accepted Answer

Many steel and composite doors arrive with a factory finish and should not need repainting or staining unless the manufacturer recommends it. At least once a year, use an approved garage-door lubricant on the hinges and springs and have the door balance checked. If the door will not hold its position, feels unusually heavy, or moves unpredictably, do not adjust the spring system yourself; call a professional garage door technician.
